About Anna
Anna Parsons is the founder and maker behind Vacant Wheel, an artisan home fragrance studio located in Oklahoma City. She received a double BFA in graphic design and photography from Oklahoma City University. After two corporate layoffs and feeling unfulfilled working on other peoples websites, she decided it was time for a change. So she wrote a list… next job must include creating something with her hands, design, photography, and her other passion - scent. The idea of sampling and creating fragrances and designing her own collections lit her up and Vacant Wheel was born.
A native Okie, many of her candles are inspired by moments and memories growing up in Oklahoma. While some hope to channel happiness, strength, and sacred ritual. Sustainably sourced using clean ingredients, VW products are phthalate free, cruelty-free, and vegan. Woman owned + operated, our candles are made with 100% US grown soy wax and all of our products are handmade locally in our studio.
Anna spends her days pouring candles, drinking earl grey tea, making art, and playing board games with her family. She lives in the heart of Oklahoma City with her husband, son, daughter, 2 dogs, and 3 cats.
